  1. Jillian Gill says:

My brother was the most loving, giving, loyal person you could ever meet. He was selfless and funny. He had a beautiful soul and a spirit that could light up a room. If you knew him, you loved him. I spent my whole life wanting to be more like him. I will cherish every moment i ever spent with him. I truly hope he is happy and at peace now. He deserves nothing but the best. There will never be another human being quite like him. Love you John.

  2. NANCY A GILL says:

John was born on a hot May, 1980 day in Houston, Tx.
He was my first child and a very easy going child. His Sister, Jillian, was born in June 1984 and John was so happy, he gave her everything she wanted, even if it was in his hand he handed it over, I told him “John, I wouldn’t do that, she is little now but if you give her all your things now she’s gonna think that way for life” John, said, in his 6 yr old voice, “it’s o.k., I love her” she made up for that when she made him Bailey & Cameron’s Godfather.
John had his share of brotherly issues with Jillian for a few years (till she was old enough to go out with him) and then it was on! they went to everything together.
you see, that was his problem, he was like that with everyone. He lite up a room, older people, children, everyone loved him.
I will miss my son dearly and try to remember he is not alone, he will join so many people who left this earth and now will be re-united with them.
i hope he is at peace now and never suffers again.
Till Mom can be with you again, my 1st born, my love, my hero, be happy.
    miss you already,

  6. Jon Berthiaume says:

John and I met while working at the Woburn Theater back in 95. His impact on my life was immediate, for I was a very shy person, that found it hard to be sociable. Working with John changed that.. Forever. I am so I am today, because he brought me out of that shell, and taught me to embrace who I am, regardless of what others thought. We said and did probably many things people thought were inappropriate, even by today’s standards, but we were young, and regretted nothing. John always lived that way, and it made us brothers back then. We reconnected a couple years ago, and it made me see how much of my life was incomplete without him and his family. Nancy and Jack were like my other parents back then. Jillian was like a sister, as I often found myself yelling John not to be so mean to her, siblings though. Life is meant to be shared and enjoyed, and John.. You created many memories, with many people. Safe to say that you will be remembered, and your life will be celebrated. I’m not going to miss you, because your memory is going to live with me forever. Glasses up folks…. Cheers to a great man.
