R.I.P Aunty! Heaven has just received a beautiful angel! Memories of you as I was a child are how sweet and loving you always were. I still remember when I got married and how exited you got over my wedding song. You stood up and waved a hug in the air and sang right along out loud as we danced. (C’eline Dion” The Power Of Love”.) I now have images of you up in haven having the same reaction to that song and dancing alongside all the angels in heaven.????

I remember the first time I met Alice (Nana). I was seven years old. She had a big smile on her face. Seemed very happy to meet me and my sister (April). I got to meet her for the next few months. One day I went to her and Grandpa’s house. My father told her to call her Nana.

When I got in the house, I ran in, hug Grandpa and went over to Nana and said “I love you Nana” and have her a big hug. She was so happy and hugged me harder than I’ve ever been hugged.

I love you Nana, Rest in Peace

I met Alice more than ten years ago. We met at Curves in Wilmington. From the first day I met her I knew what a wonderful lady she was and that I wanted to be her friend. Even though Curves closed we kept in contact. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. I loved her. Rosie

  10. Elly McCarthy says:

Deepest condolences to all the family and friends of dear Alice. I am Dave and Paulette’s neighbor in Florida and I had the great fortune of getting to know Alice and Don when they came down here a number of times to visit. I think now of Alice’s wonderful friendliness and her very sweet smile. What an awesome lady! I so enjoyed being with her and chatting. She had an unforgettable laugh and everyone loved her. I know she will be so sorely missed by her large and wonderful family and her dear husband. Those of us just on the periphery of her life will also miss her and remember her so fondly. Rest in peace, Alice….you are Heaven’s newest angel.
