Alice M. (Breda) Capistran

Alice M. (Breda) Capistran, age 86, of Tewksbury, formerly a long-time resident of Chelsea, passed away on November 17, 2017.

Alice was the beloved wife of the late Chelsea Police Detective George Capistran, devoted mother of Ray Capistran & his wife Lisa of Londonderry, NH, Rich Capistran & his wife Michele of Wilmington and Ron Capistran, loving “Nana” of Brittany Borgatti & her husband Mark, Briana Capistran, Courtney Capistran, Michael Capistran and Tanya Capistran, cherished daughter of the late Remigio and Gioconda (Gotti) Breda, dear sister of Claire Fitzgerald & her husband John of Chelsea, Geno Breda & his wife the late Marianne of Revere and Richard Breda & his wife Theresa of Wenham. Alice is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will gather at the Nichols Funeral Home, Inc., 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington, on Monday, November 20th at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Thomas of Villanova Church, 126 Middlesex Ave., Wilmington at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. Visiting hours will be held at the Funeral Home on Sunday, November 19th from 2:00 to 6:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial Donations in Alice’s name may be made to The Carroll Center for the Blind, 770 Centre St., Newton, MA 02458.

    To the Capistran and Breda families, our deepest condolences. Alice was a wonderful woman filled with love and concern for all who had the good fortune of knowing her.     The Capistran Family in California is sending our deepest condolences to the Capistran Family in Massachusetts.
