My condolences to the Allen family and friends. A major part of my growing up occurred in Ralph’s barber shop. Whether it was reading the latest Archie or Superman comic book or MAD magazine or sitting in the chair and talking to Ralph about whatever the subject of the day may have been, I have many fond memories of him. He was always in a good humor, had a smile on his face and was a kind and gentle man who was always glad to see you. He was a Wilmington treasure that will surely be missed by all those who’s lives he touched.
