Some of my best childhhood memories of growing up in North wilmington are of “hanging around” at D&D and watchhing all the older guys fixing up their hot rods and pumping gas for Don. He was always very nice to all the kids and let us help whenever we wished. He will be missed by many. Our prayers are with his family.

Dear Gwen, Billy, Charlene & Penny,
I was very shocked to hear of Don’s passing (my father told me) I had no idea that he was ill. We have so many memories of him and your family growing up together!! He will be very missed. I will keep him and your whole family in my prayers. I can’t make the service as I have to work and can”t get out of it.

I was very sorry to hear of Don’s passing. I wanted to come to the service on Friday but I will be with my mother-in-law who will be in the hospital having surgery that day. We were so sad to hear of Donnie’s illness and passing. He was such a good man, and a good uncle and brother in law. We hope that you find comfort in knowing that he is now with so many beloved family members, and is no longer suffering.
