Angelina T. Brabant

Angelina T. (DiChiara) Brabant, of Tewksbury, formerly of Wilmington, age 73, passed away unexpectedly on December 7, 2011, at the Saints Medical Center in Lowell.  Born in Revere on January 28, 1938, Angelina was the beloved daughter of the late Americo and Jennie (Barilone) DiChiara.  She grew up in Revere and moved to Wilmington in the 1950’s as a teenager, where she continued her education and was a graduate of Wilmington High School. 
After moving to Wilmington, she met Robert Brabant and the couple married in 1960.  They had a great life together, started a family, and took pride in raising four boys.  Angelina and Robert moved to Tewksbury where they spent the last 22 years as residents.
Angelina worked as a CNA at the Tewksbury Hospital for over 15 years she loved her work and was dedicated to her patients.
Angelina loved to cook and also loved to take trips to Foxwoods Casino with her family.  Her family was the most important thing to her, she enjoyed family holidays, birthdays, or special celebrations, Angelina never missed an opportunity to be with her family.  Angelina was always there to lend a hand and she beamed with pride whenever she talked about her children, grandchildren, or great-granchildren.
Angelina is the beloved wife of Robert E. Brabant of Tewksbury, loving mother of Robert Elfman and his wife Joanne of Pepperell, Kevin Brabant and his wife Jayne of Hudson, NH, Steven Brabant and his wife Tina of VA, and David Brabant and his wife Lisa of Wilmington.  Angelina was the cherished grandmother of Lindsy, Rachel, Robert, Kevin, Brian, Tony, Allan, Jessica, Nathan, Danielle, Steven, Daniel, David, Heather, Stephanie and Kristen and great-grandmother of Andrew, Brennyn, Mia, Jessie, Emily, Alexis, Caleb, Mathew, and Madison.  Angelina was the dear sister of Richard DiChiara of Lowell, Dorothy Iovanna of Lynn,Shirley Barilone and her husband John of CA, and John long and his wife Angela of CA.  Angelina is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends. 

Visiting hours will be held on Monday, December 12th from 3-7 p.m. at the Nichols Funeral Home, Inc., 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington.  Angelina’s Funeral Service will take place on Tuesday, December 13th at 10:00 a.m. in the Wilmington United Methodist Church, 87 Church St.(Rt. 62), Wilmington.  Interment will follow in Tewksbury Cemetery.  Memorial donations in Angelina’s name may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, 85 Astor Ave., Norwood, MA  02026.  www.nicholsfuneralhome.com

    Dear Robert and family, I am so sorry to hear that Angie has passed away. She was a beautiful woman and a wonderful mother-in-law to me while married to Steven. My heart felt condolenses go out to you and your family during this trying time. I know that she was your love for over 50 plus years and that is a beautiful thing to have shared all those wonderful years together.
