Anne M. Pilcher

Anne M. Pilcher, age 80, a life-long resident of Wilmington, passed away peacefully on July 24, 2021.

Anne was born on January 3, 1941; she was the dear daughter of the late Thomas and Eleanor (Selig) Pilcher. Anne was raised and educated in Wilmington and a graduate of Wilmington High School with the Class of 1960.

Anne worked as an accountant for several companies through the years but her favorite was at Macy’s Department Store in Burlington. Anne also worked on the sales floor at Macy’s where she was very helpful and pleasant with her customers as well as her co-workers.

Anne enjoyed many things throughout her life but some of her favorites were trips to the beach in her younger years, taking long walks, reading, vacationing with her parents and most of all spending time with her family, extended family and friends.

Anne was the dear sister of Thomas C. Pilcher & his late wife Lynn of California, the late James H. Pilcher & his wife Pat of New Hampshire, the late John J. Pilcher & his wife Dorothy of Wilmington, the late Eleanor O’Leary and her late husband George and the late Michael P. Pilcher. Anne is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Family and friends will gather for Graveside Services at the Wildwood Cemetery, 233 Middlesex Ave., Wilmington, MA, on Saturday, July 31st at 12:00 noon.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Nichols Funeral Home, Wilmington, MA.

    Met Ann many years ago at Macys and we had Wilmington in common. Enjoyed seeing her there over the years where we’d catch up. Lovely lady. May she RIP.
