Anthony E. “Tony” Krzeminski

Anthony E. “Tony” Krzeminski, age 90, a long-time resident of Wilmington, passed away on July 29, 2020 at the Brightview Center in Billerica.

Tony was born on March 23, 1930 in Gardner, MA; he was the cherished son of the late Anthony and Adela (Pavlowski) Krzeminski. Tony was raised in Gardner as part of large family of 11 children and graduated from Gardner High School.

Following graduation, Tony enlisted in the U.S. Air Force on December 22, 1950. He served overseas in Germany for over two years during the Korean War. Tony was honorably discharged and returned home to his family on December 21, 1954.

Tony took a position at the Aetna Insurance Company, which relocated him to Connecticut. While he was working, he met Grace (Ianzito). The couple starting dating and were married on November 10, 1952. Tony and Grace moved to Wilmington in 1965, where they settled down and raised their only son, Paul.

Tony went to work for the Town of Wilmington as the Tax Assessor for over 27 years. He was quick with numbers and very dedicated to his position.

In his spare time, Tony loved to golf and a member of Long Meadow Golf Club.

Tony will be remembered as a kind and loving man. He will be missed by his family and friends.

Tony was the beloved husband of the late Grace (Ianzito) Krzeminski, devoted father of Paul Krzeminski & his wife Chrissy of Billerica and is survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will gather for a Graveside Service with Military Honors at the Wildwood Cemetery, 233 Middlesex Ave., Wilmington on Monday, August 3rd at 10:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, Memorial donations in Tony’s name may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 309 Waverley Oaks Road, Waltham, MA 02452.
