Bessie I. (Colver) Trach

Bessie I. (Colver) Trach, 87, passed away on October 30, 2013 in Burlington, Massachusetts.

Bessie was born in Bushkill Township, Pennsylvania to Robert L. Colver and Mary J. Colver on June 20, 1926.  She was a graduate of Nazareth High School, PA.  Bessie was also a lifelong member of the Schoeneck Moravian Church in Nazareth.

On August 21, 1956, she married her beloved husband Ray Trach in Nazareth and the couple enjoyed 49 years of marriage.

In 2004, Bessie and her husband Ray relocated to the New England area to be with their son and family.

Bessie is survived by her son, Scott and his wife Sandra; beloved grandchildren Katherine and William; sister Grace Rheinhart; and close family relatives.  Bessie was preceded in death by her husband Ray, who passed away in 2005; parents; and multiple siblings.

Family and friends will gather at the Schmidt Funeral Home, 407 Belvidere Street, Nazareth, PA 18064( on Saturday, November 9th for Visitation at 12:00 noon immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will take place at  Belfast Union Cemetery, Nazareth, PA. Arrangements under the direction of the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave., Wilmington, MA ( and the Schmidt Funeral Home in Pennsylvania. 

 Memorial donations in Bessie’s memory may be made to the Visiting Nurse's Association (VNA) of Middlesex - East, 607 North Avenue, Suite 17, Wakefield, MA 01880 (

The family wishes to extend their sincerest gratitude to the VNA and Lahey Clinic in Burlington, MA for their devoted care of Bessie.
