January 15th, 2017

Beverly A. Sullivan “Bev” (Hennessy), age 63, a life-long resident of Wilmington, died unexpectedly on January 14, 2017, at the Mass General Hospital in Boston.

Bev was born on July 26, 1953 in Winchester, MA; she was the cherished daughter of the late William and Anna Hennessy. Bev was raised in a wonderful and loving home where everyone was welcomed whether you were family, extended family, or a friend. Bev was educated in Wilmington and a graduate of Wilmington High School with the Class of 1971.

Family was everything to Bev and she showered them with unconditional love and support. Bev was very devoted to her children Lisa, Colin, and Mandy; she was always at their side for countless school activities, sporting events, band concerts, and every important milestone in their life. Bev looked forward to family holidays, vacations, and spending time with the kids blasting music, dancing around the kitchen, and cooking. Bev was known for her famous meatballs that were gobbled up by her granddaughter Aria who was her pride and joy.

Let’s not forget to mention that Bev was the “all time most avid” Bruins fan whether it was the “old time” Bruins team, past Bruins, or present Bruins she loved them all. Bev enjoyed watching games, going to games, and sharing her enthusiasm for the players. Bev was thrilled to be part of the Bruins victory parade on City Hall Plaza in Boston when they won the Stanley Cup; this is a memory that will be treasured by all who were with her.

For many years, Bev belonged to a bowling league in North Reading where she had a great time and made several life-long friends throughout the years.

At the time of her death, Bev was employed as a Medical Records Tech for Omni Care North Shore. Bev liked her job and she was very good at it; she had a great work ethic and good personality with her clients as well as her co-workers.

Bev will be fondly remembered for her love of family and friends; she was a wonderful daughter, mother, mother-in-law, Nana, sister, aunt, and a true friend to many. Bev will forever be missed in the hearts of those who loved her.

Bev was the beloved companion of the late Ed Morgan, devoted mother of Lisa Sullivan of Tewksbury, Colin Sullivan & wife Shannon of Billerica and Amanda “Mandy” Morgan of Wilmington.
