Carolyn J. (Ruggiero) Poore, “Hubba”, age 75, a long-time resident of Wilmington, passed away surrounded by her loving family on January 12, 2021.

Hubba was the beloved wife of the late Robert Reynolds, devoted mother of the late John Reynolds, cherished daughter of the late John and Leita (Mason) Ruggiero, dear sister of Carmella Liggiero & her husband Michael of Raymond, NH, Sandra Dion & her husband Michael of Derry, NH, Jim Ruggiero & his wife Janice of Wilmington, Joseph Ruggiero & his wife Lori of Sterling and Michele Valente & her husband Charlie of Wilmington, loving aunt of Richard Liggiero & his wife Sheryl, Maria Spinelli, the late Michael Liggiero, Christine Wyatt & her husband Mark, Justin Ruggiero, Christopher Ruggiero & his wife Regina, James Ruggiero, Johnathan Ruggiero, Chance Ruggiero, Krystle Valente, Tony Valente and the late Ashley Valente. Hubba is also survived by many loving great-nieces and nephews.

Family and friends will gather for Visitation at the Nichols Funeral Home, Inc., 187 Middlesex Ave., (Rte. 62) Wilmington, on Monday, January 18th from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place in St. Thomas of Villanova Church, 126 Middlesex Ave., Wilmington on Tuesday, January 19th at 10:00 a.m. Interment to follow in Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington. Masks are required to be worn in the Funeral Home and Church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in Hubba’s name may be made to Care Dimensions Hospice, 75 Sylvan Street, Suite B-102, Danvers, MA 01923.

    Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Hubba was such a big part of my childhood. She taught me so many good lessons about life. Visiting her, Bobby and Johnny was always the hi light of my summer. A wonderful wife and mother she set a great example of love and devotion in every aspect of her life. Knowing she is at home with her family in heaven brings a calm to my soul. We will hold her in our memory forever. With love & sympathy

    Sorry for the loss of Hubba. 2005 was the last time I saw her at Uncle Tony’s funeral. You guys are family but I feel left out because of not being raised around you y’all. I miss you guys and pray for peace. Condolences to family and friends. Love Susan
