Claudia M. Perault

Claudia M. Perault, age 71, of Wilmington, formerly of Malden, passed away peacefully on March 6th, 2014.  Born and raised in Italy, in her own words she was proud to be “a refugee, legal immigrant, US citizen and loving mother and grandmother” and “mom to many”.

 Mother of Joe Perault and his wife Christine of Natick, and Tom Perault and his wife Melissa of Wilmington, loving grandmother of Brooke Perault and Haylie and Derek Perault, daughter of the late Antonio and Marie Antonini, dear sister of Luciano “Lucky” Antonini of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Peter Antonini of Sandwich, and Mary Lou Antonini of Somerville.  Claudia is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Family and friends will gather at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rt. 62), Wilmington, for a Funeral Service on Monday, March 10th, at 10:00 a.m.  Entombment to follow in Holy Cross Mausoleum, Malden.  Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, March 9th, from 3-6 p.m. 

Memorial donations in Claudia’s name can be made to the Wilmington Community Fund, P.O. Box 147, Wilmington, MA  01887.

    I was lucky enough to work with Claudia @ HUB for approx. 20 years…a much loved person with a great sense of humor. We all knew her sons’ names and the grandchildren, because she always spoke of them. A light has gone out of our lives. Claudia, Rest In Peace. I love you dearly and will greatly miss you.

    Your mother was a very special person. She dearly loved her family and there were always packages arriving at HUB for her Christmas shopping. It was a pleasure to have known and worked with Claudia these past 16 years. Never forget her laughter and talk about her often, she’ll always be in your hearts.     Although I didn’t work with Claudia on a daily basis, every time I would visit the Wilmington office, I would say hello to her. She always made me laugh.. I’m very saddened to hear of her passing. My thoughts and prayers are with your family. She will be sorely missed. RIP Claudia.. Heaven just earned another angel.

    Claudia was a special friend to us. She always had a smile and sense of humor. In the work place, Claudia always had the answers when we called her about our insurance coverages. She was missed when she retired, but now miss her even more. We will meet up with you someday, Claudia.
