Everyone liked Dave. I will always think of the good times, whether that was embarassing our sons rooting for them at a basketball game, or me, Dave, and Gerry teaching Pete,Dennis, and Greg a lesson on the court, while we secretly wondered when one of the old guys were going to pass out.

To one of my very best friends, Elaine, and her children, Dennis and Jaclyn: I could never express how terribly sorry I am about your loss. How we all loved David for his gentle, sweet, kind man he was. His beautiful smile as we see on the picture you have chosen. How I remember us girls heading off to the cottage, trying to be independent, and when we got there we always needed to call David to help us get things up and running the way they should be. He would walk us through, step by step, with our flashlights on, helping us patiently like he always was. Such great memories of David. A wonderful man, husband, father and friend. Elaine – your relationship with David was one always to be admired as you were true partners. Elaine – you worked so hard to find an answer to his illness, never giving up, even when some of the most pronoun doctors could not help, you continued to find an answer.
