I worked with David when we were at DuPont Pharmaceuticals. The joy and friendship David brought to our organization will be well remembered by his former co-workers and friends. He helped make our company a family of friends. He will be so missed by those who knew him and I will miss his postings on Facebook, which served as a means to keep in touch. His family can be proud to claim him as one of their own; many who knew him would feel the very same way. God Bless and Keep You, David Reid.

  4. Howard Stevens III says:

At 4:45 am on September 3, 2017 heaven gained an angel I lost a person so very close to me and many others, to cancer. He fought long and hard and is now at peace and in Gods hands. He is a friend, team mate, classmate, brother, and I consider him family.
May you rest in the arms of the Lord who formed you from the dust of the earth. May holy Mary, the angels and all the saints welcome you now that you have gone forth from this life. May Christ who was crucified for you, bring you freedom and peace. May Christ who died for you admit you into his garden of paradise. I ask this in Jesus name. Amen

My sincere condolences to the entire Reid family. I first met Dave in 1975 when his older brother Bobby gave me the opportunity to play little league baseball on his team. He reconnected with me on Facebook a couple of years ago & it was like we never skipped a beat. Chatted for quite some time catching up.
