Dear Uncle Duddy, the last time I spoke with you, was on my b’day. A conversation I will cherish for many years to come. Thank you for so many fond childhood memories. Pulling me in a wagon behind your bike, teaching me to ride a bicycle, taking me driving through Roxbury on Columbus Ave. Every one always said I had cool Uncle’s. Uncle Obie taught me how to drive a standard on one of his Corvettes. Going to see Ike and Tina Turner and listening to CCR. As your journey takes you to the Pearly White Gates please give Nana, Barbara(my Mom), Uncle Obie and Aunt Ellie hugs and kisses from all of us. May you Rest In Peace, my beloved Uncle. Love Valerie

Dear Uncle Duddy…it’s so hard to say good bye to someone that holds a special place in my heart. You have been there for me my whole life. There are so many childhood memories and even adult ones that I will cherish forever. I loved spending time with you in the barn and watching you work on your card and every now and then you ask me to hand you a tool. Or the time Val and I came to visit and we took the blue ford for a ride and went out to breakfast, and I drove. That was so much fun. The last time we talked you had called to check in on me, will b a call I will always look back on. You would always ask how the most beautiful girl in Maine was doing.I would proceed to tell you what was happening in my life. Before we hung up you would always tell me how much you loved me and I would do the same. I love you more than the stars in the sky. Every time I look up to the sky, I will think.of you and be so thankful you were a part of my life. Rest peacefully Uncle Duddy. Love Heidi
