After high school, Edith married Kenneth Ward and moved to Wilmington where they built their home and raised their daughter, Janette.  Edith then married Vincent “Jimmy” Narduzzo in 1976 and enjoyed twenty years of marriage until his passing.   Edith and Kenneth reunited a few years ago and greatly enjoyed spending time together.

Edith loved dogs, spending many years breeding German Shepherds.  Edith enjoyed going deep sea fishing, loved to go to horse races to see her brother’s horse, liked to travel and took flying lessons.  Edith was an active member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Wilmington United Methodist Church, and Angels in Motion (AIM) and she enjoyed going to activities at the Wilmington Senior Center.

Edith was all about her family and friends.  She loved having her family and friends over for cookouts and celebrations throughout the year, especially her summer parties and Christmas Eve celebrations.  Edith will be sorely missed by family, friends and all who knew and loved her.

Edith was the beloved companion of Kenneth Ward of Tewksbury, and wife of the late Vincent Narduzzo. She was the loving mother of the late Janette L. Powers and her late husband Richard and step-mother of Joseph Narduzzo and his wife Eileen of Boston.  Edith was the cherished grandmother of Laurie Finne and her husband Kenneth of Wilmington, Joseph Narduzzo and his wife Camille of Boston, and Katie Narduzzo of Boston and great grandmother to Ayden Narduzzo.  Dear sister of Lewis Staples and his wife Phyllis of Dunstable, George Staples and Nancy Parker, both of Billerica and the late Robert Staples.  Edith is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
