edmonds-christopherChristopher Marc Edmonds, age 39, of Wilmington, passed away unexpectedly, Thursday, April 23, 2009, at home.

Christopher was the beloved son of Nancy (Sabella) Edmonds and the late Stephen B. Edmonds of Wilmington, MA. He was the loving brother of Jill A. Edmonds of Dorchester, MA and Stephen B. Edmonds, Jr. and his wife Kim of Belmont, MA and the dear uncle of Nicholas and Christian Edmonds of Belmont, MA. Christopher is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Christopher was raised in Wilmington and was a graduate of Wilmington High School. He loved sports, and was a gifted athlete and musician. He had a lifelong passion for playing the drums.

Funeral Services will be held at the Nichols Funeral Home, Inc., 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington, on Wednesday, April 29th. Interment will be in the family lot at Wildwood Cemetery.

Memorial donations in Christopher’s memory may be made to Dana Farber Hospital, Attn: Gift Processing, 1309 Beacon St., Brookline, MA 02466.

    I will always remember Chris. He was a wonderful easy going person who tried to please everyone and was a happy go lucky guy!     Many of my fondest childhood memories was of growing up with Chris and constantly playing sports (hockey, stickball, whatever). I spent many days with Chris and his family and my family and me are very sad to hear about Chris’s passing. Chris will forever be part of our memories of growing up in Wilmington and I know he will be missed.
