Nancy M. (Sabella) Edmonds, age 64, of Wilmington, died peacefully with her family at her side on Thursday, June 23, 2011, at the Spaulding Rehabilitation Center in Cambridge.

Nancy was born on December 6 1946, in Cambridge, MA, she was the cherished daughter of the late Gaetano and Dorothy (Cruickshank) Sabella.

Nancy moved to Wilmington over 35 years ago and was the proprietor of Jewelry Imports.

Nancy loved animals, especially her dogs.

Nancy was very devoted to her children and loved her grandchildren, they brightened her day.

Nancy was the beloved wife of the late Stephen Edmonds, devoted mother of Stephen Edmonds, Jr. & his wife Kim of Belmont, Jill Edmonds of Boston, and the late Christopher Edmonds, loving grandmother of Nicholas, Christian, and Katherine Edmonds, dear sister Joseph Sabella and his wife Katherine Harlow of Albuquerque, New Mexico.

Family and friends gathered for a Funeral Home Service on Monday, June 27th at 12:30 p.m. in the Nichols Funeral Home, Inc., 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington. Interment followed in the family lot at Wildwood Cemetery in Wilmington. Memorial donations in Nancy’s name made be made the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 44 Binney Street, Boston, MA 02215.
