Edward F. Grinley

Edward F. Grinley died unexpectedly on March 2, 2013. He was born in Brighton,
MA on March 1, 1935, the son of Joseph and Helen (Norwood) Grinley.

He spent many years living in Massachusetts, Bridgewater, New Hampshire and most recently
Kissimmee, Florida.

Over the course of his lifetime he worked as a truck driver, a policeman for
Bridgewater, NH and a volunteer firefighter for Bridgewater, NH.

He enjoyed boating, fishing, golfing, and flea markets.

Surviving family members include his wife of 56 years Jacqueline (Quandt)
Grinley originally from Wilmington, MA. 2 sons and a daughter, Edward and his
wife Pamela Grinley of Grafton, NH, Richard and his wife Sheila Grinley of
Ashland, NH, and Linda and her husband Mike Jenness of Plymouth, NH. 9
grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
He was pre deceased by his father, Joseph Grinley, his mother, Helen (Norwood)
Grinley, 2 brothers Joe and Tom Grinley, and a son, David Grinley.

Family and friends will gather at the Nichols Funeral Home, Inc., 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62) Wilmington on Saturday, March 9th for Visiting Hours from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. and
2-5 p.m. concluding with a Service at 5:00 p.m., followed by a gathering afterwards.
A private family burial will be planned at a later date.

In lieu of flowers a donation in his name may be made to the American Heart
Associaton, 300 5th Ave., Suite 6, Waltham, MA 02451.

    Please accept our heartfelt sympathy for the loss of Ed. He will be remembered by Jackie and his children as being a crusty old gentleman. He was the cut up at all the family gatherings.     Jackie, Eddie , Richard,Linda. My heart is very sadden for your lose of ED. He was a wonderful husbend, father and a great cousin. We wil all miss him and all the fun we had at the many cookouts that we spent togeather. I loved him like a brother. (Even when he would call me Sister Cleastes) RSIP in peace my dear cousin.
