Edward P. Morris, Jr.

Edward P. Morris, Jr., known as “Paul” to his family and friends, age 65, of Wilmington, died September 2, 2016, at the Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston.

Paul was born on October 27, 1950; he was the dear son of the late Edward P. and Barbara D. (Desautell) Morris. Paul grew up in Wilmington and was a graduate of Wilmington High School.

Following graduation, Paul, enlisted in the U. S. Navy in November of 1969 during the Vietnam War. Paul trained at the Hospital Corps. School in Great Lakes, IL as well as the Field Medical Service School in Camp Lejeune, NC; he served at a Medical Service Tech during his active duty. Paul was honorably discharged on August 29, 1973 and returned home to his family in Wilmington.

For many years, Paul worked as a Computer Tech for various hospitals throughout the State before his illness forced him to retire.

Paul was the dear brother of Carol Ann Morris of Wilmington and the late Thomas Morris. He is survived by his loving nephew & niece, Riley Morris and Meghan Morris both of Keene, NH. Paul is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Graveside Services with Military Honors will take place in the Veterans Section of Wildwood Cemetery, 233 Middlesex Ave., Wilmington on Tuesday, December 27th at 2:00 p.m.. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Nichols Funeral Home, Wilmington.
