Elaine M. Johnson

Elaine M. Johnson (Villers), age 64, of Lowell, died unexpectedly on December 21, 2017.

Elaine was born on August 6, 1953 in Haverhill, MA; she was raised and educated in Stoneham by her foster parents John and Kathleen Foley who she loved dearly.

Elaine was known as a “social butterfly” who had such an endearing personality that she made friends wherever she went. Elaine loved to help others; she was very kind and caring and was known to have the biggest heart. Elaine also cared for animals especially her cats.

Elaine had a passion for all kinds of music; she along with her family and friends always had a great time following local bands and karaoke throughout the years.

Elaine will fondly be remembered as a “happy person” who loved to spend time with her family and friends. She enjoyed getting together with her brother Charlie and his family for holidays and special family events. Elaine loved her family and friends with all her heart and they will miss her dearly.

Elaine was the beloved wife of the late Robert W. Johnson, dear sister of Charles J., Sr. and Patricia E. (Lawler) Wayman of Wilmington, loving aunt of Donna J. Wayman of Wilmington, Lynne M. Hurley of Lynn, Karen A. Wayman-Ward & her husband Mark and Patricia A. Wayman-Fone & her husband Stanley all of Billerica, Charles J. “Chuck” Wayman, Jr. of Wilmington and the late William Wayman. Elaine is also survived by her loving companion Bruce Stern of Lowell as well as many great-nieces, great-nephews and friends.

Funeral services for Elaine will be private and are under the direction of the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave., Wilmington, MA.
