Elaine Marie DelSignore

Elaine Marie DelSignore, passed away peacefully on August 13, 2021, after a long illness.

Elaine was born on June 11, 1951; she was the beloved daughter of the late Florence (Faiella) and Lawrence DelSignore. Elaine was raised and educated in Dorchester, MA where she attended Jeremiah E. Burke High School.

Elaine worked for many years as a bookkeeper for the H.W. Marshall Company in Newton.

Elaine lived in Phillipston, MA for many years before moving to Rindge, NH, several years ago.

Elaine will be fondly remembered for having a big heart; she loved to spend her time cooking, sewing, gardening and watching Hallmark movies. Elaine had a special love for Mickey Mouse and for elephants. Her happiest moments were spent with family and making big family dinners. Elaine was dearly loved by her family and friends, and she will forever be in their hearts.

Elaine was the dear sister of Lawrence DelSignore of Rindge, NH, George DelSignore and his wife Betsy of Franklin, MA, the late Loretta Antonowich and her late husband Anthony, sister-in-law of Susan Mitchell of Hookset, NH. Loving Aunt of Stephanie DelSignore of Boston, MA, Stacy Martel, her husband Philip & their children Dakota and Jonathan, Steven Delsignore and his significant other Amanda Crockwell, Timothy DelSignore and his wife Ruth and Jonathan Antonowich all of New Hampshire, Andrew DelSignore of Franklin, MA, Anthony Antonowich and his wife Kathy of Malden, MA. Elaine was also survived by many cousins and friends.

Elaine’s visitation will be private, and burial will take place in Wilmington, MA. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington, MA. www.nicholsfuneralhome.com

    So sorry to hear about the passing of cousin Elaine. I have fond memories as a child when she would come for a visit with my parents in Watertown. She had a big heart and a great sense of humor and we will remember her fondly.

    Elaine was my friend Loretta’s younger sister. We all played together as youngsters on Sawyer Avenue. So many happy memories. Joe the ice cream man. Street light that told us it was time to go home. Simple times, unlike today. Elaine was a wonderful person.
    Kind and giving. She fought a long hard battle with cancer that ultimately won. She will be missed and always remembered. We should all strive to be a little like Elaine. Rest in peace Elaine.
