  3. Carl I. Hoyer says:

    Dear Christine and Christopher,
I just learned of your mother’s passing and felt badly, not only because of her death but because I was unable to be present for the funeral service. As you know, our friendship goes back over half a century and it is troubling to hear of the demise of such a wonderful person.
Mere words fail me at this time but please know that I share in your sorrow and be assured that my prayers and thoughts are with you and your family.

    Christine and Christopher,
I’m so sorry to hear of your Moms passing. I tried to phone her about an hour ago, line disconnected, I felt something was wrong as I always called her once in a while.
