Scott C. Fama, age 42, a long-time resident of Wilmington, died suddenly on December 1, 2010.
Born in Woburn, MA, on May 9, 1968, Scott was the beloved son of Paul J. and Mary Jane (Goodwin) Fama of Wilmington. Scott grew up in Wilmington and was a 1986 graduate of Shawsheen Tech High School in Billerica. Following High School, Scott enlisted in the United States Air Force on September 23, 1986, he served the country proudly and received many commendations for his efforts, he was honorably discharged on April 9, 1993.
Scott is fondly remembered by his family and friends as a “good” guy, who loved to cook and do for others, he will be dearly missed.
Besides his parents, Scott is survived by his two brothers Jeffrey P. Fama of Methuen and Dana J. Fama of Reading, Scott is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. At the family’s request services and interment were private. In lieu of flowers donations in Scott’s memory may be made to the E.N. Rogers Memorial Veterans Hospital, 200 springs Road, Bedford, MA 01730.
As a long time friend of your family, I am very sorry for the loss of your son & brother. I can only hope that Scott is in a better place in mind and soul.

I am so sorry for the loss of my cousin Scott. I have such fond memories of us when we were little kids at Plum Island. I will never forget the fish fights on the beach and Jeff, Scott, & Dana whipping this things all over the place and at each other. They were some of my best memories as a child. Scott you will always be in my heart forever. Though we didn’t keep in touch as we got older. I will never forget how you made me laugh so hard when I was little. You rest now my sweet soul.
