Fran went on to continue her education at the Melrose Wakefield Hospital School of Nursing and earned her degree as a Registered Nurse.

Fran was an amazing seamstress and very talented crafter; she could whip up beautiful costumes, elegant prom gowns and various crafts for her family and friends.

Fran worked as a Registered Nurse at Dr. Miah Rovner’s office in Melrose for many years; she was a wonderful nurse who thought of her patients and their families as her own. Fran had a wonderful personality and she treated everyone with kindness, compassion, respect but most of all love. Following her retirement from nursing, Fran went to work as a Nanny for two families where she enjoyed helping to raise Emily, David and Adam.

Fran was active in St. Thomas of Villanova Parish in Wilmington for many years where she attended Mass and taught CCD.

Fran was quite a lady; she was kind, smart, helpful and fun to be around. Fran showered her family and friends with unconditional love and she will forever be in their hearts.
