Fred would roll into Sunrise; we’d never know what he’d be driving – one of the Fords? Pulling a tractor full of brake calipers on his way to the scrapyard? Once, even towing a flatbed with a day-glo orange tractor on it! All different visits, and all the same; a kind word, a gentle dig at someone who deserved it, and a progress report on his latest project. Great source for a lead on a hard-to-find tool, and a true shirt-off-his-back buddy to many. Fred will be missed….
