George A. D’India, age 93, of Wilmington, formerly of East Boston, passed away peacefully on January 22, 2019 at the Blaire House in Tewksbury.
George was the beloved father of Grace Lyon & her husband Bernard of Wilmington, Michael D’India & his wife Margaret of Norwood, Alice McInnis & her husband Paul of Windham, NH and Nadine Silsbee & her husband Henry of Wilmington. Loving “Papa” of Bernard Lyon III & his wife Tori, Traci Medeiros & her husband Keith, Kevin Lyon & his girlfriend Tamar Richards, Dante D’India & his wife Megan, Nicholas D’India, Christopher D’India, Noelle Latorella & her husband Jon, Rachel Silsbee & her boyfriend Brendan Crowe and David McInnis, fondly known as “Pups” to his great-grandchildren Colby Medeiros, Devin Medeiros and Owen Latorella. Dear son of the late Michael and Agatha (Franco) D’India. George was the last of 13 siblings and is survived by many nieces and nephews.
At George’s request, his Funeral Services will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations in George’s memory may be made to a Children’s Charity of your Choice.
