Gerald P. Mace “Jerry”, age 78, of Wilmington, died peacefully surrounded by his loving family on August 6, 2015, at the Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston.

Jerry worked hard to provide for his family, he was an excellent truck driver, and was a proud member of the Teamsters Local 25 in Boston; he retired following 30 years on the road.

In his spare time Jerry enjoyed golfing, tinkering with cars, going to car shows, and of course washing his truck daily. He was an avid gardener who was always working around the yard. Jerry loved to travel anywhere with family and friends; Las Vegas, Alaska, or across the country for months at a time, everyone always had a great time when they were with Jerry.

Jerry will be fondly remembered as a “great guy” who would do anything for anyone, he was a wonderful family man, a good neighbor, and a true friend. Jerry will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
