My thoughts and prayers are with the whole Barry family and Gregg’s wife, Jennifer. Gregg was a close friend to my brother Marc who unfortunately passed away unexpectedly last year. Gregg was very comforting and supportive towards my mother throughout her grief process. I just saw and spoke with Gregg this past April and we both spoke of my brother and how we both miss him so much. So I am just so saddened by his death. I can only say for me personally, that it gives me a little comfort knowing that two best friends can be together again.

  5. Gary Dellner says:

Gregg was a really good friend of mine. We talked a lot. He had a great heart and we often prayed for each other. Some may not know it but, Gregg believed in God, though he could not always express that, he knew God was real. Just recently, he told me that he prayed really hard for me one night and that God had a great plan, he could feel it and he was right. Though we didn’t work together anymore, we always kept our friendship. Gregg confided in me with some very personal things and that’s why I know that He is in a good place. He had a heart for kindnest and for that, he will be rewarded. We talked about our souls one day and we both agreed that only our physical bodies go away, our souls will live forever. There will be no more pain. I remember telling Gregg about the beginning of poem during the passing of his friend, it said, “Do not stand by my grave and for I am not there, I do not sleep”. It was comforting to know that and I believe that Gregg is not asleep. God has rewarded him for the many times he shared with me. We talked almost every week. I tell you as a good friend of Gregg, he is with the Lord. Its not so much of what we do, it’s who we are inside. My deepest sympathy and prayers to Jenn and Greggs family. It’s not the ones who are gone that hurt, it’s the ones who are left behind. May God bring his comfort to you all.
