H. Patricia “Pat” (Seander) Swain

H. Patricia “Pat” (Seander) Swain, age 88 of Wilmington passed away January 6, 2014 surrounded by her loving family, after a long period of declining health.  Pat is survived by her husband of 66 years, Albert W. Swain.  Born on June 30, 1925, she was the only child of Marion (Farr) and Andrew Seander of Medford, MA.  

For several years Pat worked as a proof reader for many Boston area publishing companies.  She enjoyed reading, knitting, crocheting and gambling, but most of all spending time with her family especially the decades they spent together at their summer home in York Beach, ME.  In her later years she was never without her beloved dog Brady by her side.     

Pat will be deeply missed by her daughters, Donna J. Anderson of Tewksbury and Cherilyn P. O’Neil and her husband Joseph of Wilmington; her grandchildren Brian K. Anderson and his wife Kelly of Billerica, and Kerrie P. Sancartier and her husband Michael of Dracut, Evan M. O’Neil and his wife Rachel of Wilmington, and Zachary O’Neil of Wilmington; her great-grandchildren, Mollie and Meghan Anderson and Emma and Abigail Sancartier.  She was pre-deceased by her grandson, Justin A. O’Neil and her son-in-law, Douglas W. Anderson.  

At Pat’s request, all services and her internment at Wildwood Cemetery in Wilmington, MA will be private.
