James R. “Jim” Tyler

James R. Tyler, “Jim”, age 90, a long-time resident of Wilmington, passed away on November 20, 2021.

Jim was the beloved husband of Imelda (Walsh) Tyler, devoted father of Carole-Anne Tyler & her husband Richard E. Keane, Jr. of Riverside, CA, Rose-Marie Tyler Robertson & her husband Mark Robertson of Wells, ME, Brenda-Jean Tyler & her husband Raid Mohammad of Christiansburg, VA, and Colin Scott Tyler & his wife Kristin (Chase) Tyler of Derry, NH, loving “Grampy” of Victor Martin Clark, III, Leila Anne Clark, Aminah (Mohammad) Alamgir & her husband Irfan Alamgir, and John Walsh, “Great-Grampy” of 9 great-grandchildren, cherished son of the late Joseph R. and Mary (Lally) Tyler, dear brother of Joseph M. Tyler & his wife Pauline (Nogrady) Tyler of Allston. Jim is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews as well as his beloved dog, Wally.

Jim belonged to the Bricklayers and Allied Craftsmen, BAC Local 3, Boston, MA.

Family and friends will gather for Visitation at the Nichols Funeral Home, Inc., 187 Middlesex Ave., (Rte. 62), Wilmington on Friday, December 3rd from 10:00-11:45 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Thomas of Villanova Church, 126 Middlesex Ave., Wilmington at 12:00 noon.

Memorial donations in Jim’s name may be made to the Salem Animal Rescue League, 4 SARL Drive, Salem, NH 03079.
