Jason R. Hoover

Jason R. Hoover, age 27, of Winchester, passed away unexpectedly on December 25, 2014.

Jason was born in Winchester, MA, on August 21, 1987; he was the beloved son of Diane M. (Shukis) Hoover of Winchester and William R. Hoover of Waynesboro, PA. Jason was raised and educated in Winchester and was a graduate of Winchester High School with the class of 2005.

At the time of his death; Jason worked as a Pipe Fitter for Union Local #537 in Boston.

Jason was a talented musician; he enjoyed playing his guitar and composing his own music.

Jason will be fondly remembered for his “one of a kind” sense of humor; he loved to tell jokes and pull pranks on his family and friends just to make everyone laugh.

Jason was truly a beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and a true friend to many; he will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Jason was the beloved son of Diane M. (Shukis) Hoover of Winchester and William R. Hoover & his wife Laurie of Waynesboro, PA, loving brother of William Hoover of North Reading, Nicole Hoover of Medford, and Melissa Hoover of Wilmington, cherished grandson of Francis & Joanne Shukis of Wilmington and the late William & Claire Hoover of Burlington. Jason is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Family and friends will gather for Visiting Hours at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave, (Rt. 62), Wilmington, on Monday, December 29th from 4-8 p.m.

    OUr family remembers Jason fondly as a good friend of our son, Stephen while the boys were growning up in Winchester. I remember how I enjoyed the laughter that erupted from Jason and Stephen as they shared a joke or funny comment in the car while I would be driving them somewhere. Jason had that slow and easy smile ..He was easy to be around. I am deeply sorry for his life to be cut short so young and express sincere condolences to the family.
