Joan,
We are so very sorry for your loss. We will sorely miss seeing John next door and his friendly conversations. He was quick with a joke to make us smile, and you’ve both been so generously kind to Will and Joe. We’re planning to drop something off for you that we hope can be of some comfort.
Your stricken neighbors,
Bill, Carolyn, Joe, and Will Desmarais
Thinking of you all at this difficult time. Thoughts and prayers to you all.
Joan, JD,
I am so sorry for your loss. John was a character! One of my most favorite memories were the pictures taken during his time traveling with ‘The Flamingo’! Those pictures still bring a smile to my face…
Please know that even though we cannot be together, you (both) are still in my thoughts and prayers, Donna
JD and Joan I know I’m a little late in finding out but I’m so sorry to hear this news. I have so many good memories of him growing up and saw first hand what an incredible husband and father he was and will always be. He always treated all of us like his own kids and no one will ever be able to top his sense of humor. I hope you’re doing ok RIP Big John gone way too soon
