I’m sadden to hear of the passing of a former classmate. Although I never met Carl, I’m sure he was a great person and will be missed. My heart goes out to his entire family. God Bless You.

I remember one day I was pulled over on the side of the highway during rush hour traffic helping a friend that was in an accident. I had left EDI about a year and half prior. I looked up and Carl was there with his hand out and that smile that he had. He shook my hand and I smiled. He asked if everything was alright and if I needed any help. I said no and he said “well it was good to see ya” and off he went. That was Carl, a very caring and helpful person who always went out of his way to do good for anybody.
Like SO MANY others….I will miss him.

Beth,

I was so sad to hear of your loss. Over time you find a place in yourself to keep him and all that you had together but that allows you to remember him with smiles rather than tears and to keep in your family without sadness. I know that you have your children and they will be a motivation to be strong. At least that’s how it was for me.
For now, just get by one day at a time.
