Paula,

We are sorry we did not get a chance to meet your father when he visited Colorado. He sounded like a terrific person. Our condolences to you and your family. May time and the beautiful memories you have help heal your sorrow. Tracy and Alan

Our condolences to Dave's family and friends. He was a distant cousin, and though we never had the privilege to meet him, we are lucky to have his sister MaryAlice and his daughter Paula in our lives. Through them, we know that he was a kind, caring and gentle man. God bless.

Dave, We can never replace you
we can though think of you
as we ponder your memory and then
with fond remembrances over and over again
we smile . . .that indeed you were once here with us
alongside us with one another we stood and things were truly better then
better with you, then without you but we had you once for days, months, years for hours and seconds and now simply gone . . . we seek your presence to no avail we look in the strangest of places
in the recesses of our minds and the innermost chambers of our hearts
we search and you fade we search and you continuously fade
You will always be in my heart, thoughts and, above all, my memories.
God Bless you..
My love, prayers and heartfelt condolences goes out to you all of the Jones family

Myra,
I can only imagine how sad these days have been & will be. I'll always remember the things we would say about both our parents so many years ago....
You know your parents are together again & will still watch over you & your family.. So tho sad you are now, the laughter will return when you're thinking about or see something that reminds you of the wonderful things in the years you shared as a family or alone.
Thinking of you always,
Aleta

Dear Paula and Tapani,
We are so very sad to hear about your father's passing. We were thinking about you a lot during Christmas time, and imagining your beautiful decorated house with candles and so much warmth that you always create around you. We had no idea about the sorrow that you suddenly faced and are still dealing with, for a long time. We all wish you lots of strength during these difficult times, our warmest wishes and thoughts are with you. Love, Eeva and family

Paula, Melissa, Myra and all the Jones family.

As a final entry for Dave, I shall keep on my computer his last two e-mails to me dated December 20. 2009. One was a Christmas card which truly identifies the real meaning of Christmas, and the second is one entitled "The law is the law". It is very much about out government and what holidays should really mean. I have sent it on to my friends as I think it sends an important message. I never knew what to expect in his e-mails, as some were funny, and at times he kidded me about being from West Virginia. I shall miss these e-mails, but I am so glad that Dave and Barbara were my friends. Love and peace to all the Jones family in the coming year.
