Joseph J. “Joey” Cuoco, Jr.

Joseph J. Cuoco, Jr. “Joey”, age 52, of Wilmington and Revere, passed away unexpectedly on February 9, 2020.

Joey is survived by his daughters Sofia and Olivia Cuoco and their mother Gina Cuoco all of Eagan, MN, his parents Joseph J. Cuoco Sr. of Revere and Geraldine “Geri” Szymanski & her husband Paul of Wilmington, he was the brother of Kimarie Falzano & her fiancé Peter DePesa and Sheri Cuoco all of Wilmington, step-brother of Erik Szymanski & his wife Elizabeth, Keith Szymanski and Christopher Szymanski & his wife Nicole. Uncle of Tyler Huebner, Scott Falzano Jr., Kaila McGonagle, Jalie Cuoco, Christian, Cole, Chase and Hannah Szymanski and Great-Uncle of Ava Rae Keddie. Joey is survived by his fiancé Heather Parker of Revere and her children Kayla and John Paul O’Toole. Joey is further survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Family and friends will gather for a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Thomas of Villanova Church, 126 Middlesex Ave., Wilmington, on Friday, February 14th at 12:00 noon. Arrangements are under the direction of the Nichols Funeral Home, Wilmington.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Joey’s memory may be made to RCA, 75 Lindall St., Danvers, MA 01923 or to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105.

Joey was currently employed as a plumber with the Plumber’s Union Local 12. He enjoyed music, snowboarding, he loved to laugh and looked forward to the time he spent with his family and friends.

    Wowww its aweful to here this news…joey was a great friend when we were kids….I played town baseball with him and went to the same schools….he was an outstanding person….I’m sorry we never kept in touch through life…..which happens to alot of us all……the things I remember about joey was playing town baseball….he was an outstanding and formidable player and quite honestly he had this smile all the time……I miss those days ….he was a good friend back then……I send my condolences to his family….he was a good soul

    I’m So sorry for your loss Joey was a great friend of mine we went to school graduated together at the tech in plumbing, I worked with Joe this past summer quite a bit and I hadn’t seen him in a couple years I feel so bad I just moved to Seattle I couldn’t make it home.     Joe and I were in Plumbing shop together. Class of 1985. What I remember about Joe is that he was so kind to me (being a girl in plumbing was, at that time, unusual. He looked out for me. I have so many fond memories of our time together. My sympathy to his family and friends. May he rest in peace.
