Kim V. (Engdahl) Griffin

May 15th, 2016

Kim V. Griffin (Engdahl), age 40, a life-long resident of Wilmington, died unexpectedly on May 14, 2016.

Kim was born in Stoneham, MA, on November 6, 1975; she was the cherished daughter of John and Helen Engdahl. Kim was raised in Wilmington and a graduate of Shawsheen Valley Tech High School with the Class of 1994, where she studied in the health field.

In her early years, Kim, loved to work in the nursing field; she was very caring and comforting to her patients.

Kim married Anthony(Al) Griffin on February 4, 1995. Over the years they became parents to four great kids Kelly, Hannah, Connor, and Daniel. Kim enjoyed being a mom and a homemaker; she was very family oriented and loved being home with her children as well as the many children she took care of throughout the years.

Kim had many talents; she was creative, crafty, and loved to decorate her home. She enjoyed sewing, planting, painting, and was a great cook. Kim took time to look through her many cookbooks to come up with different recipes to make for her family and friends.

Kim will be fondly remembered as a loving mother who was so proud of her children and would do anything for them. Kim’s husband affectionately called her “Momma Love” and that described her perfectly. She was a beloved wife, mom, daughter, sister, niece, cousin, and a dear friend who will forever be missed by all.
