Kimberly Ann Strob, of Cocoa FL, formerly of Wilmington MA, passed away on April 2, 2016 after a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 47.
Kim was born on September 23, 1968, grew up in Wilmington MA, moved to Florida with her parents in 1980 and graduated from Cocoa High School in 1986.
Kim worked for Brevard County Animal Services for 11 years before becoming a Deputy Clerk for the Brevard County Clerk of Courts.
Kim was a fan of NASCAR, drag racing and a member of the Space Coast Street Rod Club. She was also an avid competitive dart and billiards player for the APA of Brevard County.
Kim was the dear daughter of Timothy E. Strob and the late Roberta A. Strob of Billerica, devoted and loving sister of Robin L. Strob of Naples FL, granddaughter of the late William and Olive Strob and the late James and Barbara Aylward, niece of Jack and Linda Strob, William and Pam Strob, the late Naomi Landry and her husband Ray, Joseph and Edie Strob, Ruth Ann Sampson and her late husband, Kenneth, and the late Barbara O’Brien and her husband Nick. Kim is also survived by her loving cousins Charlotte, Billy, Anthony, Eric, Jay and Brian Strob, Deanna Sampson Marzolini, Timmy and Eddy Sampson, Ginnie Paiva, Linda Sampson Bonney, Carl, Michael and Steven Abell, PH and Jesse O’Brien.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to Avow Hospice, 1095 Whippoorwill Lane, Naples FL, 34105, for giving Kim such loving care.
A Celebration of Life will be held at The Knights of Columbus Hall, 126 Middlesex Ave., Wilmington on Saturday, July 9th from 5:00- 8:00 p.m.
Kimbers: A truer friend I’ll never find. I love you forever and always. You are so missed, but I’m happy you aren’t suffering anymore.
I’ll always treasure the good times we shared and all the wonderful memories that we’ve made.

Kim, I think about you everyday. I’m very sad that you are gone, but I’m glad you are not suffering anymore. I knew that you and my mom would always truly be together I just wish it wasnt so soon. I’m sure they said “oh crap, games on with both of you guys being together”. I feel very blessed to have known you and my mother couldn’t have picked a better best friend. I can’t wait to be with you again. We sure had some great times. Make sure you and mom have a big party planned cause it gonna be one hell of a reunion! I love you!!!!!!!

I will never forget you. You have been a part of my life for 41 years! You made me laugh when I needed it and we shared moments of tears as well. Our conversations may have been sporadic but we always picked up like it was yesterday. You had such a positive outlook. I am glad we spoke one last time and ended with “love you”! I will cherish those last texts forever!! So…love you my friend and rest easy!
Heaven is a much more beauitful place now with you in it. Hold down the fort and we will see you soon. Love you little one.
