We are so sorry we were unable to deliver our condolences to each of you personally. Your loss of this fine honorable man is huge. We always looked forward to seeing him at all of Gloria's family functions. He was great fun and such a grand friend and relative to Gloria and her and Jim's family. He will be badly missed.

Dear Harry and family,

Just heard of the passing of your Dad. Ron and I send our deepest sympathy. It was just several weeks ago when we were chatting about your Dad at our class reunion and how active he has kept in the community. I know you and your family will miss him dearly.

With love and prayers. Kathy

I just returned from vacation and learned of the death of Dave. I am so sorry for the loss to his family and to the town of Wilmington. I met Dave when he spent a season working at the Town Museum through a program with the Senior Center. He was a great, nice, smart guy. After he left the Town Museum, I always looked forward to seeing him around town. HE was always up to something interesting! We all will miss him.

We have so many happy memories of Dave as Marsha and Dave worked together for 30 years. We attended many Delphi computer users meetings together, and while we learned a lot, Dave made sure that we also had a lot of fun. He guided Hastings-Tapley through many years of computer upgrades and taught the staff well. So many had fear of computers in the early years, but with his patience, they overcame the fear and learned. It's hard to understand why people are taken from us, but find comfort in knowing you were a special part of such a well-lived life. Dave was so proud of his family whom he loved dearly. We are grateful to have been Dave's friend and treasure the memories we shared.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Dave was like another father figure to me when Mike and I were teenage friends. My deepest condolences.

Dave was the greatest friend and person to know. We grew to adulthood as neighbors from the Federal Gardens in Wilmington. We will always have pleasant memories of this talented guy. He was very athletic and could walk on his hands, tumblesault, and do some fancy figure skating. Most of all, he would share pleasant stories, jokes, and any other knowledge. His family and all of us, will miss him fondly.
