Laura was raised in Leicester, MA and later moved to Wilmington, where she raised her three boys: Joe, Jimbo and Jeff. We met Laura when her son Jeff married our daughter Marissa. We loved hearing about the events she sponsored, pre-covid, for get togethers and fun. We met up with her just before Thanksgiving this year at Chuck’s Steak House / Margaritagrill, a restaurant close to her house that she loved. The manager met us when it opened at 4pm and welcomed her and us like old friends. It was a special treat and we celebrated with ultimate margaritas and cheese cake. Laura skipped since she was prepping for her trip to Key West, but we indulged figuring we would treat. It was not to be. Gracious as she was she picked up the bill. The world will be a little less joyful without her and this holiday season, let’s toast to her abundant world view and life.
