
Robert J. Lee, age 57, a longtime resident of Wilmington, died Friday, January 15, 2010, at the Melrose Wakefield Hospital.
Born on April 28, 1952, in Somerville, MA, Bobby was the dear son of the late Walter G. and Mary Elizabeth (Watters) Lee. Bobby grew up in Wilmington and was a graduate of Wilmington High School. He was employed in both Sales and Installation of Cabinetry for Somerville Lumber, Moynihan Lumber, and Meyer Laminate for many years. In his spare time, Bobby enjoyed golfing on many courses including Hilton Head, South Carolina, he loved going to Lake Winnesquam in New Hampshire, and he was a huge Patriots and Red Sox Fan.
Bobby was the beloved father of Bobbi Jo Lee of Birmingham, AL and Duane Christopher Lee of Pennsylvania, grandfather of Malayshia Mildred King, Summer Elizabeth Lee, Samantha Lee Fowler, and Erika Jewel Lee, dear brother of Walter “Butch” Lee, Jr. & his wife Janet of Denver, CO, Mary Goodearl & her husband Ricky, and Richard Lee & his wife Judy all of Wilmington, special uncle of Kristin & Richie Lee, Darlene & Dawn Goodearl, Michelle & Debbie Lee, and great niece Jaclyn, also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends. A special thank you to Angela Zaccagninni and Dawn Goodearl for taking such great care of Bobby.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 22nd at 11:00 a.m. in the Nichols Funeral Home, Inc., 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington. Interment will take place in the family lot at Wildwood Cemetery. Visiting hours Thursday, January 21st from 5-8 p.m.
Memorial donations in Bobby’s name may be made to the Robert J. Lee Memorial Fund, c/o Reading Cooperative Bank, 362 Middlesex Ave., Wilmington, MA 01887.

I am so saddened to hear of Bobby’s passing but have very found memories of all the fun we had with all of you over the years. I am grateful that his suffering is over and he is in a better place.
When I heard of Bobby’s passing it brought back so many memories of Bobby and me. The first time I actually talk to him was at Elias County Store I was riding my bike and fell in a pot hole in the parking lot, that starting a very long relationship, I will truling miss him he was a good friend. He is looking down on us with a can of natural Light saying here’s to ya.
Very Sorry to hear about Bobby Lee. I know that he will be missed by many. Sorry that we can’t be there but he is in our hearts and thought.

So sorry for our loss. I worked with Bob at Meyer Laminates and we were always joking around with each other. I just found out tonight that he passed away. Good times for a good man is how I will hold his memory. Peace

So sorry to hear of Bobby’s passing. My thoughts and prayers are with his family. I will remember Bobby as kids growing up. My brother Bill and I would travel from Somerville with my father, Dick to visit Richie and Bobby. We often would play baseball in the field on Federal Street where he grew up.
