Louis “Lou” A. Marsolini, Jr.

Louis “Lou” A. Marsolini, Jr., former resident of Wilmington, MA and Bluffton, SC passed away peacefully in his assisted living residence in Palm Coast FL with his children attending to him on August 7, 2021. He was 87 years old.

Lou was born in Melrose , MA on October 2, 1933, Son of the late Louis A. Marsolini and Eva (Kirk) Marsolini.

He served in the United States Air Force from October 1951 to September 1956, as a Printer and continued on this path when he completed his service in the Armed Forces.

Lou met and eventually married Judith H. Burr while working together, the couple were married in Boston, MA on July 11, 1959. They moved to Wilmington, MA to raise their family, they were blessed with three wonderful children, they eventually retired to Bluffton, SC after 46 years.

“Papa Lou” was a man of few words, he had an infectious smile that would light up any room or brighten everyone’s day, if that didn’t work his blue eyes certainly would. Known as a hard working man, he was always willing to lend a hand and help in anyway. A man of many talents, he was extremely artistic, he loved to draw, paint and make wood craft items. Which he did with and shared with his family.

Lou was the beloved husband of the late Judith (Burr) Marsolini, devoted father of Linda Kennedy and her husband Jack of Pepperell, MA. Robert Marsolini and his wife Christine of San Diego, CA. Debra Burke and her husband Paul of Palm Coast FL. He was the loving Papa of Meghan Poling and her husband Chris, Lauren Kennedy, Kayleigh Marsolini and spouse AJ, Evan Marsolini, Trevor Marsolini, Nicole Marsolini and Chloe Marsolini, Michael Christensen and his wife Sarah, Great Grand Daughters, Sophia, Caia, Aubrey and Lily. He is further survived by many niece’s and nephews.

At Lou’s request his funeral services will be private.

    Marsolini family, “Papa Lou” sounds like a very special man! Sending my sincere sympathy to his all family, especially the San Diego portion that I know and love.
