Louise C. Iosue

Louise C. Iosue, age 81, of Wilmington and Arlington, died peacefully on Tuesday, May 8, 2012. Louise was born on October 29, 1930, in Cambridge, MA, she was the cherished daughter of the late Louis and Clementine (Pesce) Iosue.

Louise was raised in North Cambridge and Somerville and was a graduate of Cambridge Latin High School. She furthered her education at Emmanuel College in Boston, earning a Bachelor of Science Degree in education.

Prior to retiring, Louise was a school teacher in Springfield before returning to Arlington. Louise then took a management position at the Shawmut Bank in Arlington, retiring after many years of dedicated service.

In her spare time, Louise enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, celebrating countless holidays and family gatherings, and traveling all over the world.

Louise was the dear sister of Joseph P. Iosue, Sr. and his wife Eleanor of Wilmington, she was the dear aunt of Joseph P. Iosue, Jr. and his wife Mary and Sharon Enos and her husband Phil all of Wilmington. Loving great-aunt of Corey Iosue, Nicole Iosue, Sara Lane and her husband Joseph, Phil Enos, and great-great-nephew Joseph Thomas Lane. Louise is also survived by many dear friends.

Family and friends will gather at the Nichols Funeral Home, Inc., 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington for Visiting Hours on Friday, May 11th from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass in St. Thomas of Villanova Church, 126 Middlesex Ave., Wilmington at 11:00 a.m. Interment Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington. Memorial donations in Louise’s name may be made to Parkinson’s Disease and Movement Disorders, 330 Brookline Ave., Boston, MA 02115.
