Margaret Anne Chalifour

Margaret Anne Chalifour, age 47, of Hyannis, formerly of Wilmington, went home to God, on November 1, 2014, due to complications from Multiple Sclerosis.

Margaret was born on March 19, 1967; she was the cherished daughter of Leon G. and Marilyn (McPhee) Chalifour. Margaret grew up in Wilmington and graduated from Wilmington High School. After graduation, Margaret continued her education and later became a Certified Nurse Assistant.

Margaret leaves behind three children; Matthew Chalifour, Oneida Burch and Amber Chalifour, her parents, Leon and Marilyn Chalifour of Wilmington and her three siblings, Paul Chalifour and his wife Deborah of Wilmington, William Chalifour of Lowell and Dianne Chalifour of Portsmouth, NH.

A Memorial Service for family and friends will be held to celebrate Margaret’s life in the spring of 2015. Arrangements are under the direction of the Nichols Funeral Home, Wilmington.

    So very sorry to hear of Peggy’s passing, I remeber her fondly from my days working @ Wilmington High School. Multiple Sclerosis is a horrible disease that needs to be cured. May you find peace at this most difficult time.

    hello my name is Oneida anne Chalifour-Burch. I am the second oldest of margrate chalifour’a children. Even though I don’t have a lot of memories of my mother I will miss her. She gave me life and all I can really do is thank her for that and my brother Matthew chalifour is also greatful for her giving him life as well.
