Margaret A. (White) Janes, “Peggy”, age 93, of Wilmington, died peacefully on May 10, 2017. Peggy was the beloved wife of George A. Janes, devoted mother of Peter Janes of Wilmington and Deborah Caseri and her late husband Timothy of Port St. Lucie, FL, loving grandmother of Brendan Patrick Dargis. Sister of the late Eleanor Grantz, Mary Ellis, Elizabeth Harrington and Patrick White, Jr., sister-in-law of the late Ella Alden and Dorothy Mae Taylor. Peggy is also survived by her nieces Lorna Taylor and Donna Drotter.
Family and friends will gather for Visitation at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington, on Monday, May 15th from 11:00 a.m.-12:00 noon immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 noon. Interment with Military Honors will follow in Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington. Peggy proudly served in the U. S. Marine Corps. during WWII.

Peggy will be missed and always in our hearts, we remember the visits to Vero beach and Port St. Lucie Florida. Prayers will be sent to your family for a peaceful transition losing a loved one and a Mom. I pray for peace to all the family members we have touched and will share all the good memories of Peggy’s past and we hear on earth will rejoice with her one day.
