Marie J. Ricci

Marie J. Ricci (Addario), of East Boston, MA, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2020; just shy of her 109th birthday.

Marie was born in the North End of Boston on April 28, 1911; she was the cherished daughter of the late Nicola and Antonetta Addario. She resided in East Boston, MA for most of her life and was a resident at the Leonard Florence Center for Living in Chelsea for the past three years.

Marie was the beloved wife of the late Anthony Ricci, mother of Louis Ricci and his late wife Mary (Visconti) of Reading and the late Ann Albano and her husband Joseph Albano of Revere.

Grandmother of Donna Crosby and her husband Robert, Linda Conroy and her husband Mark, Louis Ricci Jr. and his wife Laura, Susan Gray and her husband Charlie, Jeanne Grimes and her husband John and Michael Ricci and his wife Mary.

Great-Grandmother of Kelly, Kristin and the late Christopher Crosby, Kyle, Lindsay and Jenna Conroy, Ryan and Matthew Ricci, Mary and Alyssa Gray, Nicholas Von Shantz-Ricci and Madison Grimes.

Great-Great-Grandmother of Joey Giordano, Benjamin and Jacob Kincaid and Kayleigh Pearson.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Marie’s memory may be made to the Leonard Florence Center for Living, 165 Captains Row, Chelsea, MA 02150.

Due to the current situation of the Coronavirus and for everyone’s safety, the Ricci family has decided to hold a private service at this time.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Nichols Funeral Home, Wilmington. www.nicholsfuneralhome.
