Marilyn D. Bouvier

Marilyn D. Bouvier (Dean), age 76, a long-time resident of Tewksbury, passed away unexpectedly on May 13, 2019.

Marilyn was born in Boston, MA on October 25, 1942; she was the daughter of the late William and Margaret Dean. Marilyn was raised in Newton, MA and was a graduate of Mount Alvernia Academy in Chestnut Hill with the Class of 1960.

Marilyn moved to Tewksbury in 1972 where she raised her children. Marilyn was a devoted and loving mother who attended countless school and sporting events; she was always there to support her children and was their biggest cheerleader from the sidelines. After her children were grown, Marilyn, returned to college and earned her degree in Mental Health and Counseling from Middlesex Community College in Bedford.

Marilyn took pride in her home and yard; she kept her house spotless and created beautiful flower gardens throughout her yard.

Marilyn enjoyed traveling to Colorado, Chicago, Toronto and Cooperstown, New York; but she especially loved taking trips to Canada and spending time with her extended family.

Marilyn will be fondly remembered for her love of sports; she was an avid Patriots, Red Sox and Bruins fan who looked forward to attending and watching countless games throughout the years.

Marilyn was the beloved wife of Mark Bouvier, devoted mother of Alicia Curley & husband Edward Curley Jr. of Norwell, Valerie Ryan & husband Garrett Ryan of Avon, Paul Erikson & wife Mary Erikson of Michigan and William Erikson & wife Seol Young Erikson of Auburn. Loving “Grammy” of Maverick, Travis, Meghan, Amanda, Connor, Patrick, Liam, Billy and Jenny. Dear daughter of the late William and Margaret (Gillis) Dean, sister of William Dean and Ronald Dean.

Family and friends will gather for a Funeral Service at the Nichols Funeral Home, 187 Middlesex Ave. (Rte. 62), Wilmington, on Monday, May 20th at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Waltham. Visiting Hours will be held at the Funeral Home on Sunday, May 19th from 2:00-6:00 p.m
