Mary J. Connolly

Mary J. (Wraga) Connolly, age 96, of Wilmington, MA, and York Beach, ME passed away peacefully on March 22, 2020.

Mary was born on April 13, 1923, in Cambridge, Massachusetts; she was the dear daughter of Mary and John Wraga. She was the loving baby sister of Helen Wraga-Mullen, Stasia Wraga-Ludka, and Walter “Joe” Wraga.

She grew up in Arlington where she excelled academically, received best dressed honors and participated in bowling, golf and tennis.
Her career at Lever Brothers in New Jersey was cut short in order to become caregiver for her parents.

Mary married Francis Connolly at Saint Agnes and relocated from Arlington to Wilmington in the late 50’s where they raised their family.
Mary ushered her family off to York Beach, ME where they resided during the summer months.

Mary was the devoted mother of Michael & his wife Ann, Maureen and Stephen & his wife Karen. She was the loving grandmother of Briana, Cameron, Malory, Piper and Timothy. she is survived by her sister-in-law Rosemarie Doucette-Connolly as well as a number of nieces and nephews.
