Nancy J. Tarricone

Nancy J. (Ulrickson) Tarricone, age 80, of Atkinson, NH, formerly a long-time resident of Wilmington, passed away on September 27, 2016.

Nancy was born on June 24, 1936 in Freeport, ME; she was the cherished daughter of the late Merle and Dorothy (McAllister) Ulrickson. Nancy moved to Wilmington in 1951, where she attended Wilmington High School.

While attending high school, Nancy met her husband Ralph. The two were married in 1956 and recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary among family.

While raising her three children, Nancy worked part-time. She also kept involved in the community by participating in town events, including Deputy Warden at town elections.

Nancy and Ralph spent much of their retirement years in Florida, where they made many new close friends and enjoyed traveling.

In her spare time, she enjoyed painting, arts and crafts and spending time with her family and friends.

Nancy had a special way of making people laugh and she will be greatly missed.

Nancy is the beloved wife of Ralph E. Tarricone, devoted mother of Bruce Tarricone & his wife Merryl of Andover, Jean Simpson & her husband Craig of Danville, VT and Dana Tarricone & his wife Lisa of Atkinson, NH, loving “Grammy” of Andrew Simpson, Matthew and Joslyn Tarricone, Jake, Josh and Max Tarricone, dear sister of Carl Ulrickson, the late Roger Ulrickson and Ronald Ulrickson.

Family and friends will gather for Visitation at the Nichols Funeral Home, Inc., 187 Middlesex Ave., (Rte. 62) Wilmington, on Saturday, October 15th from 10:00 -12:00 noon immediately followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 noon.

Memorial donations in Nancy’s name may be made to the American Heart Association, 300 5th Ave., Waltham, MA 02451.

    No matter the time, no matter the distance, there are individuals and families that become part of your fabric. That’s the Tarricone family to me. Nancy in my mind will always be youthful, smiling and laughing . A powerful source of joy to her friends and family. A wonderful and loving mother, wife and friend, I was shocked to learn of her passing. My most sincere condolences to the family. She truly lived a life that mattered.
