Nicholas F. “Nick” Bomboy

July 5th, 2015

Nicholas F. “Nick” Bomboy, age 17, of Billerica, passed away surrounded by his loving family on July 4, 2015 at the Lahey Clinic in Burlington.

Nick was born on November 13, 1997 in Shawnee, OK; he is the cherished son of David L. and Kay (Roberts) Jacquard. In 2007, Nick moved to Massachusetts with his family. He was raised in a loving family with his two brothers, Micheal and Christopher.

Nick attended Shawsheen Valley Technical High School, where he just completed the eleventh grade. He decided to join the HVAC shop, where he really enjoyed the trade he was learning.

Nick’s family was most important to him; he spent a lot of his time with them, even if it was a trip to frozen yogurt with his parents or joking and laughing with his brothers. Nick was a funny kid, he played many pranks with his grandfather and they loved to get each other going.

Nick loved music; he listened to all kinds of music, but his favorite was hip hop and country. He enjoyed hanging around with his friends and playing sports with them including whiffle ball and volleyball.

Nick was the type of kid who took great pride in his appearance. He was meticulous, who really had a knack for fashion. He regularly visited the barber shop for a particular haircut and made sure his hats and clothing were coordinated at all times.

Nick was a respectful person who showed manners and generosity toward others. He would always be willing to help his family, friends and neighbors with anything they needed. Nick was a gentleman and will truly be missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Nick is the cherished son of David and Kay (Roberts) Jacquard, dear brother of Micheal Bomboy and Christopher Bomboy all of Billerica, loving grandson of Len and Pat Jacquard of Tewksbury and Elmer Roberts of Oklahoma, nephew of Lori Groves of Tewksbury, Danny S. and Theresa Jacquard of RI, Sherri Roberts, Christina Wilson, Angie Weaver and Jackie Roberts all of Oklahoma. Nick is also survived by many loving cousins and friends.

Family and friends will gather for Visitation at the Nichols Funeral Home, Inc., 187 Middlesex Ave., (Rte. 62) on Wednesday, July 8th from 4:00-8:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will also be held at the Funeral Home on Friday, July 10th at 7:30 p.m.

Memorial donations in Nick’s name may be made to the Brain Injury Association of MA, 30 Lyman Street, Suite 10, Westborough, MA 01581.

Nick’s family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at Lahey Clinic for their care and compassion during this difficult time.
